[Lib-helig-l] Invitation: Eastern Cape Meeting and Launch of Membership Campaign

Please join the LIASA Executive on Thursday 9 June 2011 at 12:00 at the East London Museum for the Launch of the 2011 Membership Campaign “LIASA members are leaders”.   You will hear how you can participate and about the prizes that will be up for grabs!

 

Join or renew your membership at the meeting and you could win some prizes!!

 

We will also be presenting the LIASA Strategic Directions 2011-2014, including the mission and vision for LIASA for the next four years.   We are very excited about this new plan and would like your support in taking LIASA forward, providing strong and dynamic leadership for the profession.

 

As you know, the 13^th LIASA Conference will be hosted in the Eastern Cape (East London) from 3-7 October at the East London International Convention Centre.   This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the libraries in the Eastern Cape and to build and grow the Eastern Cape Branch of LIASA into a vibrant unit within the Association.    We aim to encourage all library practitioners in the region to attend and participate.
