The International Conference on Theory and Practice of Digital
Libraries constitutes a leading European scientific forum on digital
libraries that brings together researchers, developers, content
providers and users in the field of digital libraries. The 17th
International Conference on Theory and Practice of Digital Libraries
(TPDL 2013) is organized by the University of Malta and it will be

information with rich semantics is on the centre of the discussions of
the community. Information providers inter-link their metadata with
user contributed data and offer new services outlooking to the
development of a web of data and addressing the interoperability and
long-term preservation challenges.

TPDL 2013 under the general theme "sharing meaningful information",

[Lib-helig-l] Latest additions to E-LIS : Eprints in Library and Informations Science, http://eprints.rclis.org/

Colleagues

I used to post recent submissions to E-LIS in the past. I discontinued
the practice. Please let me know at Darriesfa@gmail.com, whether posts
such as below is something you would find of value

Established in 2003, E-LIS is an international Open Archive for
Library and Information Science (LIS). Over 14,500 papers have been
archived to date. It is freely accessible, aligned with the Open
Access (OA) movement and is a voluntary enterprise. E-LIS has grown to
include a team of volunteer editors from 44 countries and support for
22 languages. The development of an international LIS network has been
stimulated by the extension of the OA concept to LIS works and
facilitated by the dissemination of material within the LIS community.
These are some of the reasons for the success of E-LIS.
