[Lib-helig-l] National Book Week 2011 - PROGRAMME INFORMATION LIBRARIANS

National Book Week has an awesome programme catering for all involved in reading promotion. The main event for NBW will be held at Museum Africa 8-10 September 2011. All sessions are free, but bookings absolutely essential:

 

·         Storytelling techniques – learn how to use this medium to promote reading and books

·         Demo Library – hosted by city of Joburg – learn how to make your services more attractive

·         Author programme – come and see SA’s top authors in conversation

·         Book making sessions – excellent tool to promote reading

·         Book Club sessions

·         Reading promotion for the visually impaired

·         From iPad to the Kindle – come and explore these new technologies

·         Creative Writing Workshop

·         Books signings – have your favourite SA author autograph your book

·         If in Cape Town – visit the demo library at the Promenade Shopping Mall 5-10 September
