After gaining experiences in enterprises like export-firms, bookshops, antiquarian bookseller and publishing companies, he worked in libraries since 1979:

Ø Bücherhallen Hamburg - Public library
o Head of Branch-Library Hamburg-Bergedorf
o Head of Information Center in central library
