- Are your customers satisfied?
In its ongoing efforts to address Continuing Education and Professional development (CEPD), LIASA is committed to the provision of high quality training programmes for its members. A partnership initiative with SABINET has enabled LIASA Interlending Interest Group members to offer a dynamic one day Interlending Training Workshop.
The training will address the question “Are your customers satisfied?” through presentations concerning
· Turn around time,
· Interpersonal skills,
· Strategic planning and
· Much more.
Please join the ILLIG Committee members and meet the Interlending person/s representing the various Institutional JC Codes. Imagine a face in stead of just a code and an opportunity to improve customer satisfaction.
- Collection Development: The future is calling – or is it?
The LACIG community acknowledge the need for enhanced skills needed for selection and procurement of information resources that will address the needs of our individual communities that we serve. We would like to invite all interested parties to join in this workshop where we hope to address new methods and practices for electronic selection of resources, share with the LACIG group how to select resources following criteria for selection and also have a short session on some tools that are available to help us in our endeavour to build collections that will support the needs of our communities.
