Hello,

University of Leicester Beyond Distance Research Alliance announces its Learning Futures Festival Online 2011 -- Follow the Sun, 13-15 April 2011! http://tinyurl.com/followthesun

Follow the Sun is our sixth learning futures festival, and this year is co-hosted by the Australian Digital Futures Institute, University of Southern Queensland. Like last year's wildly successful Learning Futures Festival 2010, this year's festival will be entirely online. We will be working with our colleagues at ADFI to put on a truly global online conference by having hosts in three countries to cover three time zones - UK, USA and Australia. Conference platforms will include Adobe Connect Pro 8, Moodle, and Second Life.

We have lined up six outstanding keynote speakers: Sugata Mitra, Charles Jennings, Terry Anderson, Gardner Campbell, Ron Oliver, and Gilly Salmon. For more info on each of them: http://bit.ly/i3VlG3

For a sneak peak at the Fast-Forward Workshop planned by Dr Sandra Romenska: http://bit.ly/f43htZ

And we announce our Follow the Sun image competition: http://bit.ly/e3Hjhx

To register: http://bit.ly/i1S8Lz

Early bird registration closes midnight GMT 14 March 2011.

Don't miss Follow the Sun!

Best wishes,

Simon Kear
