[Lib-helig-l] Finalised curriculum for the Library Assistant Occupational Qualification

Dear Colleagues,

 

The Skills Development Act (Amended) introduced a new model for developing occupational qualifications.  It is in this context that the ETDP SETA submitted an application to the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) to re-develop an occupational qualification for the occupation Library Assistant. 

 

The ETDP SETA concluded the process and is inviting your comments.  Please ensure that this qualification will be applicable to all LIS sectors.

1.       Knowledge Module specifications

2.       Practical Skills Module specifications

3.       Work Experience Module Specifications

4.       External Summative Assessment Specifications

5.       Cover Letter for Verification

 

Forward your comments and verification of the curriculum to Hlalefang Raziya, Beatrice Enslin or Wesna Middleton (see email addresses below) by 29 November 2013.  The comments will be incorporated in the final submission to the QCTO.
